My legs have been very tired lately. I guess having just recently recovered from injuries and deciding to train for a marathon is to blame. Six weeks ago I was not running at all, but at the end of this running week I plan to have run 43 miles for the week.
This morning I finished the second 8 miler of the week and my legs felt so heavy. Actually they have been feeling heavy for awhile now. Since I did the first long run around Central Park a couple of weeks ago, I have been feeling that I have been dragging my legs. Cardio-wise I have I feel OK, however.
I am planning in skipping swimming tomorrow, so that I give my body an extra day of rest ahead of the long run on Saturday. I might skip or shorten the recovery run on Sunday depending on how I feel the day. The good news is that next week I only plan to run 34 miles for the week.

43 miles this week? Wow. I had to take Tuesday off so I'm going to end up with less than 40. My legs have been so tired and heavy too. I'm a little scared about Saturday's long run...
