Two days to go

Can`t believe that I will running a marathon in 2 days time. I am as ready as I can be, I think. I am still skeptical about the 12-week program, but I will let you know the final verdict on Sunday.

I have been going with the motion the past 2 weeks. The 15miler last week went mostly fine and finished the last 10 miles at 6.55 minute per mile. The only other important run was the 8miler that I ran early this week, again with the last 5 miles at 6.55 pace. Other than that the other runs have been short and at an easy pace. I have one last run left which will be a 3miler, which am planning to run early tomorrow morning before I fly to St. Louis.

I know what I will be doing regarding fueling and my friends in St. Louis will be driving me around part of the course on Saturday, so I can get familiar with some landmarks. I guess the only issue will be the weather since rain is being predicted. Oh well, we can't have everything. At least it will be in upper 50s.

And the good news is that both my knee and calf are actually feeling fine. Almost no pain and the best they have felt in the past 2 weeks. I hope they hold up until the end of the race on Sunday.

Good luck! You're almost there. Glad to hear the pain is not as bad as it was before.
