It is only 17 days till St. Louis Marathon.
I am all set with tickets and place to stay. I think I am going to wear the Asics GT-2130 that I have been mostly used for training for the race. They have just over 400 miles right now, but have been breaking my other pair of Asics right now. I do not want to use a pair that is less than 100 miles in them, besides the old one are so comfortable and have been my most reliable companion. It would be a shame not to have them with me for the race.
Also I have been thinking about fueling during the race. I think I will take an energy gel prior to start of the race and then every 6 miles up to Mile 18, and then take the last one on Mile 22.
Runningwise, I have an 18 mile this week and then a 15 mile run next Thursday. I am really sure what to expect for the race. The abbreviated 12 week training program really brought up my running fitness fine with lots of speedwork in the beginning, but since there was only two 20 mile runs scheduled not sure how my body will behave running the whole distance. Besides all these small aches and pains (the latest one being a sore left calf) have hampered my training. I am moving on. I will be happy with running the whole way and getting a Boston Qualifier.

17 days... that's just around the corner! I'm sure you'll do great at the marathon -- You always have low expectations for yourself and then do ridiculously well.
