it feels good to run again...

It was only 4 miles, slower than my long runs pace, and it was on a treadmill. But it is oh so good...

I had planned to go to Central Park and run around the Bridle Path, maybe even take some pictures. The rain and cold temperatures coupled with my lazy bones, however, had other things planned for me. So, I just went downstairs to the building's gym instead.

I am far from being out of the woods. Though, I ran mostly pain free, I felt aches and pains. The ankle was actually fine, but I did feel my left knee, despite the use of a knee brace.

I plan to mix swimming with running for a week or so, besides keeping on taking the anti-inflammatory. I am hopeful that in a couple of weeks I should be able to resume my regular 25-30 weekly milage.

Glad to hear that you're running again! Hopefully the knee is nothing major -- I know that whenever I take some time off of running, I'm extra sore for the first couple runs after starting again.
